I'm reading this now. My last book (David Guterson's Ed King) was such a slog. What a pleasure it is to have something that's so easy to read and relate to. ~ A year ago today I was on a canoe safari ~
Phew, another tough day. After work I went grocery shopping and was so distracted that I forgot to get half the things I needed. I did buy a bag of tomatoes though and they were so pretty I put them out in a bowl.
I can't see anything wrong with my left foot (other than a need for a manicure) but it is really painful. It hurts on top of the foot, across from left to right. Started a day or two ago and now it's so sore I'm starting to hobble. Silly foot! ~ A year ago today I was dodging roadworks ~
After traffic jams and wrong turns we arrived at our accommodation in the pitch dark yesterday. This morning I was up early to a stormy dawn and beautiful mountain views in every direction. ~ A year ago today I was watching a new TV series ~
That's 8kg of cat oozing through the burglar bars. He was meant to stay inside today (the vet gave him some meds this morning for injuries sustained in a cat fight yesterday) but I allowed him to catch some sun in the garden in the afternoon. He's doing fine. ~ A year ago today the leaves were turning ~
It is a wonder I got any work done at all today - had workers in the building, fixing our plumbing, workers outside my office window, loading and offloading building supplies, and workers on floor above doing who knows what. Noisy! ~ A year ago today I was getting excited about March lilies ~
One photo posted every day. A snapshot from my life. People I know, places I visit. The mundane details of my day-to-day. Things I do, see, watch, read and taste. A record of my small, quiet, everyday life.
