Agate


One of my favourite things: this old pendant. I love the translucent stone, the old-fashioned setting and the fact that it is so worn. I wear it often.

    What a beautiful pendant ... here in southern Namibia we often find agates along the banks of the Orange (Gariep) River and also at "Agate Beach" near Luderitz, though the latter has long been stripped of most of it's stones ...
