Icing on the Cake


Braai at Michele and family's today. For afters we had my red velvet cupcakes and Michele's carrot-cake, both with delicious cream-cheese icing. It was all good.

    My gran once told me that some people eat to live, while others live to eat. At that time in my life I thought the former suited me more than the slightly gluttonous sounding idea that I might only live to eat...... but since then, I have come to the realisation that there's not much left in the world that is as untainted, life-affirming, love-affirming, nutritious and just plain tasty, as good old fashion home cooking and baking - I realise now that food made with love - good food - is certainly something worth living for! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmy!
