Cape Town weather is full of surprises! We left a still, hot and sunny city bowl to find Silvermine cool, blustery and enveloped in a damp mist. We were in thick cloud for most of the walk and saw no views to speak of. Entirely not what I expected, but fun nonetheless... an eerie landscape with fabulous flowers and strange rock formations.
