Nursing

I'm sick. After visiting the doctor and picking up my meds I took to my bed for the rest of the day. I slept and watched Call the Midwife.
~ A year ago today I was checking the weather forecast ~

    btw...Do you enjoy CtheM? I'm trying to watch it and finding myself struggling to like it.

    Thanks for the wishes Jake. I've had a bad year with my health, and it's rather frustrating to now be properly sick (acute throat infection). I started to feel better this afternoon though, so hopefully back to normal by next week.
    I've certainly watched a lot of tv this week! It took a while (at least three episodes) to get into 'Call the Midwife' and I still find it very slow. It's also much more serious than I was expecting. But I have come to like the characters a lot and seem to get drawn into the storyline every time.
    I am also busy watching 'Veep' which is its exact opposite - fast and funny and astonishing mean-spirited.

    I'll keep watching as see where it goes. Maybe its because I want to punch all the hubbies/men in the nose. ha. Hubby didn't like it of course, saying that it was to depressing. Men!
    I've not tried Veep but love Elaine *still call her that no matter what she is in*. I'm a fan of a sarcastic character as in House *Hugh Laurie being my all time favorite*

    Glad to hear you are feeling better. And thanks for all the pic's and showing me the other side of the big big lake. :)
