Garden Chaos


Today the work finally started on the new wall around my garden. I knew it was going to be rather messy but I'm rather horrified at the destruction.

    Oh, my heart goes out to you, Helen. I can share your pain. We had a wall built between us and our neighbours (with their consent), and the damage to our gardens was just... oh... heartbreaking.

    I hope it all works out well.

    I hope it will! I can't bear the mess but I'm focussing on the end result. They have promised the new wall will be up before the weekend, and then we can get started on the new garden - a friend is doing it for me and we've been discussing and planning it for a few weeks. I just hope some of these plants survive!
