Deerfield

Here I am holding up an embroidered throw, part of a prize I won in a raffle. My mom did quite a lot of the needlework. Isn't it lovely!

    Lucky you! That is beautiful Miss Helen! I love to sew but hand work such as this is way out of my league. I tend to let the Singer sew all my neat stitches.
    And Wow! Your hair has really gotten long. Mine is about that color but still short and spiky. Some days I hate it and some days I love it. I think of letting it grow so I can yank it up on my head and forget about it. Then I think of all the time it takes to dry when it 's long. I change my mind. ha.
