Trixie-stix is growing her winter coat and getting super-fluffy. She likes curling up and snoozing on my mohair rug... I think she must be the laziest creature in the world.
Ooooohhhhh!!!! How GORGEOUS!!! She sounds just like Tuffy, who is also getting very fluffy with her winter coat. And I think if our respective cats had a laziness competition, it'd be very hard to choose! LOL...
Tuffy is an inveterate snuggler, particularly at night-time. I'm not surprised that I don't sleep all the deeply and that I don't wake up refreshed and ready for the day - on some level, I'm always aware that she's curled up against me and that I can't move without dislodging her.
And I'm always nervous of rolling onto her or accidentally kicking her. Poor thing... she's gone flying a few times already... but it doesn't seem to bother her thaaaat much. :-)
I've never heard of a cat being hurt in that way so I wouldn't worry too much... I'm sure if she didn't like being dislodged she's move away. But is is funny how we accommodate their sleeping forms isn't it. And how a small cat relaxes into quite a big heavy lump that (usually) takes over the middle of the bed. Fortunately Trixie usually sleeps at the foot of my bed. Tom has his own bed (more like a thrown) - when he does venture onto the bed he sprawls across my legs and I feel as if I'm being smothered by cat.
One photo posted every day. A snapshot from my life. People I know, places I visit. The mundane details of my day-to-day. Things I do, see, watch, read and taste. A record of my small, quiet, everyday life.
