Mr Mantis

I spotted this beastie in my garden this afternoon.

    I have a thing about creepy crawlies. *shudder* Daddy long legs *whatever they are called* would have me standing on a chair and screaming for hubby. These things are creepy but fascinating to watch. Once a man that worked with my hubby told him that he reminded him of a Praying Mantis when he saw him on his chopper. Hubby was really slim at the time and wore a full faced helmet. He can no longer b e mistaken for a chopper riding Praying Mantis. ;)

    Hey...Do you prefer him to the snakes? :D

    Don't mind the mantis or most bugs actually.
    Snakes and worms are another story.

    Worms. I have a thing about worms. Ewwwwwwwwww. A whole other story.

    My sister-in-law always makes a dirt cake for the kiddo's at family outings. Chopped up chocolate cake, crushed chocolate cookies and mixed with whipped cream and layered with gummy worms. I can't even look at the thing without gagging.
