RIP Robin Williams

I feel really quite sad about the death of Robin Williams, and touched by some of the tributes and reminiscences (like this one) that I read online today. Depression is just so horrible.

 ~ A year ago today I was nibbling on cookies ~

    I was shocked. It's heartbreaking when someone feels that death is the only answer. How sad they must be to feel that there is no hope. He was truly magical and made me laugh real tears.

      Popped over to the link. What a beautiful tribute. And so true. I loved Awakenings, too. He was brilliant and a comic genius that could play a serious part like no other. I can't tell you how many times I cried when watching Patch Adams. And Dead Poets Society I'll stop and watch every time I see it on TV. A sad loss for sure.

    Yeah. I too loved Awakenings, and The Fisher King too. So many films!
    I feel so awful for his family.
