I'd been planning on getting more storage space before the end of the year but only found out yesterday about the international hard drive catastrophe of 2011. So I was very chuffed when I found a reasonably-priced external hard drive online. I bought it last night and it arrived by courier before lunch today (excellent service from takealot.com).

Spider Solitaire

I've got into the ridiculous and annoying habit of playing spider solitaire when I'm on hold on the phone, or waiting for the computer to do something. It's a bit like a nervous tic... before I know what I'm doing I open it up and start clicking, without any conscious decision to do so.

Please hold, it will take approximately - twenty - minutes to attend to your call. I've been having problems with my internet connection this weekend and have had to ring the Telkom call centre a couple of times. Aargh, not my favourite thing in the world.
