Afternoon in the Garden

Friends and I made our way to Kirstenbosch today for a late afternoon picnic. As always it was lovely to be there. We could hear the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra concert in the background.

My grey succulent is flowering again. The main flower head is twice as big as last year's one, and there is a second spray of buds about to open. Makes me happy to see it so happy.
