My hands like to fiddle with things as I work. At my own desk I usually play with a clothes peg , but today I was busy at my colleague's desk for much of the day and got to fiddle with this whatsit.

There is a new stop street in my neighbourhood. The traffic roars down the road in the morning... hopefully this will help to slow it down.

It's fun when I find photo's I'd forgotten I'd taken on my memory card. These gulls were in the park yesterday, dive-bombing us a they swooped in to grab french fries from the people standing next to us.

I found myself at the Gardens Centre again today (fifth day in a row!). This afternoon I was picking up food for dinner with my parents.

This morning there was an almighty racket outside and the whole neighbourhood came out to see what had happened. A car had crashed right through someone's wall! Luckily the driver was unhurt, but - eeek! - poor car, poor wall.

Razor wire in my neighbourhood. It's unattractive at the best of times but even more so when covered in bits of tatty plastic thanks to the wind.

My boss came back from a conference this week. Our company won an international award. We think she should wear the medal at all times!

Phew, another tough day. After work I went grocery shopping and was so distracted that I forgot to get half the things I needed. I did buy a bag of tomatoes though and they were so pretty I put them out in a bowl.
