Too Many Pages

I'm finally reading The Goldfinch. It is taking forever, but I am determined to finish it. Why is it so looooong?

The second half of my book club buys. I loved Age of Miracles, and am almost finished The White Princess. Looking forward to reading the latest Kate Atkinson most of all.

I've recently finished Wool, first in Hugh Howey's Silo series and am now reading Stormbird, first in Conn Iggulden's War of the Roses series.

Relaxing with a Book

This was another long work week. It felt good to put my feet up when I got home today. I had a cup of tea and a snack and read another chapter of my book. It's really very good indeed and I am reading it very slowly as I don't want it to end.
