We made an impromptu visit to the National Gallery this afternoon. It was nice to see the Barbara Tyrell exhibition, but there wasn't much else going on. Afterwards we walked around the Company's Gardens, enjoying the winter sunshine.

For February's "Museum a Month" outing a bunch of us went to the Castle and had a look at their permanent collection, their excellent ceramics exhibition (Fired) as well as this fun installation called "101 Place Settings".

I had a look around the recently-restored Casa Labia this afternoon.... beautiful furniture, carpets, chandeliers and artwork. Claudia, Dorothy and I also had lunch at the new cafe.
Ian, Dorothy and John under the fever trees outside the SA Museum this afternoon. We went to listen to a talk about the potter Hyme Rabinowitz, part of the Iziko Summer School.
