I didn't have the best day today so it was nice to get some cat love from Trixie when I got home. She is such a sweet little cat. [Guest photographer: Michele]
~ A year ago today I was driving around ~
Today, after an excellent morning's walk in the beautiful Kogelberg we picnicked, and then lay down on the lawns for a nap. It was only when we got up did we notice all the wildflowers amongst the grass. [Guest photographer: Michele]
~ A year ago today I was getting a cold ~
After spending several hours this evening looking at the photos Michele and I took yesterday I have a bad case of camera envy. Michele's new Fuji HS10 takes amazing pictures. [Guest photographer: Michele]
Michele and I went whizzing along the N1 today for a day trip to the Karoo Desert Botanical Garden in Worcester. It was a fun and relaxing day out, but tiring... I did the driving. [Guest photographer: Michele]
A couple of my new succulents are flowering already. This yellow one is just adorable isn't it? [Guest photographer: Michele]
It was a gorgeous day today and it was so good to be out in the bright warm sunshine! Photo taken at Cape Point. [Guest photographer: Dorothy]
Vanessa, Dorothy and me clutching our World Cup tickets as we set off to watch our first ever soccer match. We met Sue on the fan walk and made our way to the stadium on foot. Despite the rain and freezing temperature we had a great time... the stadium is very impressive, the atmosphere was fabulous and game (Italy v Paraguay) was really good fun. I'm sorry I decided not to take my camera. [Guest photographer: Gerhard]
Fooling around for the camera... Michele looked on in amusement as Claudia and I did our fiercest roarrrs up top Vlakkenberg Peak today. [Guest photographer: Richard]
I love getting new pics of my parent's puppy, Brenin, in my inbox. I can't believe how much the little guy has changed since I saw him in March. He is nearly five months old now and such a handsome young dog. [Guest photographer: my dad]
It is really difficult to photograph my black cat - more often than not he looks like a black hole. Yesterday Richard was playing with my camera and took this snap of Tom sitting on his beloved paper bag. Perhaps it was just a lucky shot or perhaps the trick is putting him on a black background, but wow, this capture really shows his shiny black coat. Excellent pic! [Guest photographer: Richard]
Is there anything cuter than a sleeping puppy?! This little guy is Brenin, my mom and dad's adorable new 7-week-old baby, adopted yesterday. I wish I was there to meet him in person. [Guest photographer: my dad]
